New transfer article on AgroForAdapt silvoarable systems

The Emili Garolera Forestry Conferences, organised by the Consorci Forestal de Catalunya (the main forest owners’ association in Catalonia) in collaboration with CTFC, is one of the main events for knowledge transfer in the field of forestry in Spain, with eight conferences held each spring. In 2025, the 42nd edition was held, with one of the days dedicated to silvoarable agroforestry systems in Maçanet de la Selva and Riudarenes (Girona, Spain). One of the systems visited by the nearly 50 participants was an AgroForAdapt demonstration system with poplars combined with a double annual rotation of winter cereal and summer crops, under irrigation.
