Successful participation in the second agroforestry technical trip (Palencia and Burgos, Spain)

From 3 to 5 June 2025, we organised an agroforestry technical trip to Palencia and Burgos with 60 participants. On 3 June, we held a seminar at the ETSIIAA in Palencia (University of Valladolid), including a round table discussion on the potential of silvoarable agroforestry systems and the regulations that affect them. During the rest of the trip, we visited five silvoarable systems with multiple combinations and management models: fruit trees with fodder crops; timber trees combined with fruit trees and vegetable gardens; restoration of vineyard margins with aromatic plants; diversification with fodder crops from high-value timber plantations and truffle oak trees...
